WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This event is intended for startups which are in the process of raising funds, or who plan to raise capital from institutional investors in the future. These startups generally meet the following criteria:

B2B / B2C — Either
INDUSTRY — Internet-tech related
BUSINESS MODEL — SaaS
PRODUCT TECH — Any business where internet-tech is a core component of the business function
STAGE — MVP (self-funded, working prototype); Product-Market Fit (seed investment, V1.0 product released)
BUSINESS FUNCTION — Fundraising

ABOUT THE SPEAKER: MICHAEL GIRDLEY
Michael is a long-time entrepreneur and investor from San Antonio. His published works include 6 books on Java Programming with a focus on web applications. He holds a computer science degree with honors from Lafayette College. Michael has worked in enterprise software (BEA / WebLogic), security (RSA Security), venture capitalist (Geekdom Fund) and as CEO of Alamo Fireworks.
