NASA iTech is a program that connects entrepreneurs solving problems on earth with NASA, who may see opportunities to leverage those technologies for their missions.
There are 3 NASA iTech program cycles each year
During each of these cycles, NASA will visit various cities throughout the US to host an “Ignite the Night” pitch competition
The competition is to learn about technologies being developed locally that may be a good fit for the current NASA iTech cycle
Applications are now being accepted
Up to 15 presenters will be selected and given the opportunity to pitch their idea
All are welcomed to enjoy this event
One winner will be fast tracked into the iTech program (but all are invited to apply)
This program will help to build an ecosystem of innovators and investors looking to solve or invest in solutions that can be useful for NASA in the future:
It exposes NASA to technologies being developed that we were unaware of,
It reduces federal costs as we leverage private development,
Innovators get more opportunities to hear from NASA, engage with subject matter experts, meet industry leaders that can potentially partner with the startups, and investors.
