Marketing & Product Development Workshop | Alley Lyles (Direct Energy)

Often, companies develop a product first while thinking about marketing as an afterthought. But, what if we flipped it? This is a class that is half lecture/half workshop. You will learn about target demographics, market research, and user persona development. Then, you will go through the exercise, in groups, of wireframing a mobile app. What would the design look like if we considered marketing and the customer first?
Who Should Attend:
People with a basic understanding of mainstream social media platforms, e-mail marketing, and blogging (you do not need the first-hand experience using these platforms; however, a basic understanding of what they are will serve them well).
People interested in learning about marketing content, specifically, how to customize content for mass audience appeal.
What You Will Learn:
Go beyond the traditional walkthrough of how marketing platforms work.
Walk away with a better understanding of what platform works for you.
Build a toolkit of free tools you can use to better tell your story through content.
