Building Your Dev Team: Advice for Founders

Hiring your first engineers and developers will be one of the hardest things you do as a startup founder, especially if you are non-technical. It takes a lot of time, effort, and some luck to really find the best talent that will help you grow your startup.

But ultimately, how you hire is going to be the most important factor in what makes your startup successful or not.

If you are unsure about how to build your dev team, we are excited to chat with Andrew Boryk, Co-founder of Lunchbox, and Randall Huynh, Backend Developer for Lunchbox.

We’ll discuss how Andrew and Randall built Lunchbox’s dev team — from where they hired their first engineers, how they interviewed and onboarded them, and how they manage their growing team and decide on engineering priorities as they grow.
