About this Event:

Yeon Jae Ko is an associate whose practice focuses on the prosecution and commercialization of patents in the energy, chemical, biological and electronic sectors, particularly in the areas of oil and gas drilling, chemical processing, semiconductors, energy storage and renewable energy. Yeon Jae’s detailed technical understanding of various technologies allows him to counsel clients in a diverse range of industries.

Prior to joining Bracewell, Yeon Jae served as an IP and licensing analyst at Boston University Office of Technology Development, analyzing numerous technologies and developing licensing opportunities based on intellectual property in biotech, nanotech and electronic industries. After completing a doctorate degree in chemistry at Johns Hopkins University, he pursued a post-doctoral fellowship with the Rowland Institute at Harvard University, where he extensively researched technologies involving micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS), microfluidics, medical devices, nanotechnology, semiconductor fabrication and solar energy conversion.
