Design Thinking for Tech and Innovation Workshop | Prototypes, MVP & Usability Testing
Learn some of the ways to prototype and identify features that will make up your MVP and usability testing techniques.
This being the last part of the design thinking workshop series, we are now ready to get our hands dirty and do some prototyping of our North Star idea! We will go through the process of refining our prototype based on initial feedback.
Once we have a refined prototype, we will check its viability for the MVP and make necessary changes. We will then learn a few tricks on how to perform certain usability testing and gather some user feedback before we actually use the resources to build the product/service.

About the Speaker
Tanveer Chaudhary strives to bring greater change by invigorating the design mindset to serve various clients across Houston. She has developed her unique perspective by acquiring diverse skills in Project management (PMP), user-centered design (UXC), and technology-focused but not limited to Microsoft (MCAD) she brings expertise in managing innovation projects.
Tanveer has a master’s degree in computers from the University of Chennai, India. With over 18 years of experience, she was a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft before switching to consulting in technology and management. During Tanveer’s technology consulting assignments, the clients she worked with include Comcast, Chevron, Enterprise Products, BP, and EOG resources. She is an awarded Competent Communicator through Toastmasters, possessing expertise in leading executive strategy sessions.
Tanveer is a mentor to young talents from diverse backgrounds and highly recognized as a subject matter expert in Houston’s digital innovation arena. As the founder of Design Thinking & Innovation (DT&I), not-for-profit community, she guides entrepreneurs and aspiring designers through design thinking and user experience concepts. Tanveer volunteers and works on social innovation causes to give back to society.
