HX Live – How Houston is building a Smart City

“We must leap, not stroll into the future. We must sprint, not jog. It will be this city that will be the Smart City of the world,” – Mayor Sylvester Turner

It’s 2019 and Houston is covered in cameras, sensors, and other devices constantly measuring the health of our city and its residents. Over the past few years, Houston has worked hard to develop a world-class Smart City. A Smart City is a city that is using data and emerging tech to improve the quality of life for citizens, share information with the public, drive economic growth and build a more inclusive society.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise has kindly offered to open their office up to the public to house a panel of experts to discuss the cutting edge work they and others are doing in the IoT space with potential Smart City applications. PLUS, a tour of HPE’s own IoT Lab.

Join us July 23rd for this exciting discussion and meeting of the minds.
