OnRamp Impact Virtual Conference
gener8tor’s Inaugural Virtual OnRamp Impact Conference
Conference will connect startups, investors and corporations in social impact
MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN – gener8tor will launch its first annual OnRamp Impact Conference on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020, virtually. More than 200 startups are anticipated to apply for one-on-one pitch meetings with corporations, venture capital firms and social impact investors. As part of the successful, vertical-specific OnRamp Conference Series, the OnRamp Impact Conference is poised to become the premier national conference for top social impact executives and dealmakers.
The OnRamp Impact Conference brings together corporate social responsibility executives, impact investors and startup social enterprises. The conference highlights innovations in social impact, the leaders making such innovations possible, and how new technologies and business models will reinvent our communities. OnRamp Impact is for anyone making impact investments, building relationships with community organizations, leveraging their brand to make a difference in the world, or seeking to get started in this work.
Because there is so much current and necessary conversation about how to amplify our impact, we are bringing together leaders in Corporate Social Responsibility, Diversity & Inclusion, Innovation and Venture roles to share best practices on how to start, make and measure impact the morning of the virtual conference. The OnRamp Impact Conference is the ideal venue for leading startups, venture capitalists and corporations to demonstrate and discover social impact innovation.
The one-day, virtual conference will include a morning plenary session, starting at 9:00 a.m. CT, featuring remarks by the conference hosts and a keynote presentation by Jewel Burks Solomon, Managing Partner of Collab Capital and Head of Google for Startups. In addition, a variety of relevant agenda topics and themes will be covered through roundtable discussions with industry leaders, including: starting corporate social impact efforts; gaining executive buy-in; measuring social impact; diversity & inclusion efforts; Sustainable Development Goals as a source of value & metrics; and much more.
Unique to OnRamp, the conference will also include a Startup Track, featuring curated, one-on-one pitch sessions between startups and corporations. OnRamp will match selected startups with corporate venture capital and innovation executives from participating agriculture corporations to discuss potential customer relationships, strategic partnerships and, if appropriate, investment opportunities. More than 40 corporations and top-tier venture capital firms are confirmed to take meetings with startups, including American Family Institute, Better Ventures, CITIBANK, ECMC Group, ECMC Foundation, Exact Sciences, Impact Engine, Kapor Capital, and Northwestern Mutual. “gener8tor is excited to provide a platform to give visibility to diverse entrepreneurs and founders who are doing work for the greater good,” said Charmyse Tillman, lead organizer of the OnRamp Impact Conference. “Our goal is to facilitate meaningful connections among startups, venture capitalists, impact investors, and key corporate social responsibility executives to explore how we can amplify our social impact.”
The OnRamp Impact Conference will take place on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020, online. Registration information is available at https://onrampimpactconference.com.
