- Critical to meeting the COVID-19 surge was the Supply Chain function which was directly tasked with building critical amounts of inventory across masks, gowns, ICU beds, ventilators and all of the associated items we hear about on a daily basis. Critical questions emerged immediately around clinically appropriate material lists, qualified sources, demand/supply matching and then global delivery tracking and execution at a scale and pace that had never been seen.
