Grace Rodriguez, CEO of Impact Hub Houston

Grace Rodriguez helps do-gooders do greater. She currently does that as CEO and Executive Director of Impact Hub Houston: a locally rooted, globally connected startup hub working to transform Houston into a role model for how the world solves its most pressing issues. With 100+ Hubs in over 50 countries around the world, the Impact Hub network is recognized by the United Nations to support social entrepreneurs and build inclusive ecosystems that foster innovative solutions toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Grace has helped spread ideas, shape experiences, and spur action as a speaker, facilitator, moderator, and events and community organizer for diverse organizations, directly reaching over 246,000 people in the last decade. During Hurricane Harvey, she helped disseminate information to a quarter of a million people across Houston, and helped connect Sketch City’s tech volunteers with resources to help people across the city get informed, rescued, sheltered and fed. As TED’s TEDActive Creative Director, she engaged, entertained and energized over 800 high-profile participants. Grace has also helped promote Houston to over 17,000 people over seven years of leading “Houston at SXSW.”

Grace has real-world experience in design thinking, transformational change and operations, which she leverages to serve Houston’s broader community as an advisor, mentor or member of: the City of Houston Women and Minority Business Task Force, the City of Houston Opportunity Zones Task Force, MassChallenge TX, WeWork Labs, TMCx (Texas Medical Center Innovation Institute), TX/RX Labs, Houston Public Media; as a Board Member for Writers in the Schools (WITS); and as a lead organizer for Women In Tech: Houston and TEDxHouston.
